What That Remains

Dry leaves danced as the wind
Susurrated a music unknown.
Immersed in decrepitude,
The pillars echoed happiness.
The happiness of being in love
With the sky and the soil
The flowers and the trees
And the buzzing of bees.
Engulfed in the deep abyss of time,
Eaten by the darkness,
The mansion still held the dignity
While befriending itself to eternity.
