Climbing to Death


It’s not an easy job to spin a story with the least words possible. It’s quite challenging and,  that’s precisely the reason micro tales or twittering tales attract me. Just a couple of days ago, I came across such a tale on Radhika’s wonderful blog. The link shared by her took me to Kat Myrman’s blog.

I was at once hooked by Kat’s photo prompt and the challenge of weaving a story in 140 characters or less!

Here is my response to Kat’s photo prompt for Twittering Tale #36.

His attacker was right behind, chasing him. He was rising up fast. “I would rather finish myself than to succumb”, he whispered.

  5. I agree with you Mani, it is very challenging to compose anything worthwhile within a given word limit, a skill which I have taught painstakingly to my students but could hardly learn myself!
    Your story is a wonderful effort! 🙂
