First time I visit your site. Looks like a Black Kite you’ve photoed. They do occur here (Sweden) as well. Seen it once. I like to think of it as a link between our places, remote as they are. And I love this Haiku!

Thank you so much. I do believe there’s somewhere a link between every country in the world. I love to think in this way. Just visited your blog and read the posts with the help of Google translator. I loved your pictures, choice of music and words… 🙂
Apt capture of the moment in words. Heat is really too high. Ground water level is also decreasing. Cloud are required urgently, otherwise we won’t have good litchies in the season 😦
This is lovely, Maniparna! We are in the middle of Spring and you are approaching Autumn. . . Our Indian Summer is always so colorful and cool in the evenings. . . Beautiful feeling of floating along with the bird while he seeks cool, shady place to rest his weary wings. Hugs ❤
Thanks, Robin. We are just at the threshold of summer and being a tropical country, it’s quite hot and humid here now. However, the evenings are breezy… 🙂
Wow ❤

The month of June is hottest here. But, fortunately, we are experiencing occasional rain this year… the climate is still a tolerable one.

Cloudy shade is s a catch-all phrase symbolising shade and the dark rain clouds. Great match-making here, Mani, of the image and words.

Thanks a lot…that was precisely the intention of using that phrase… 🙂

Hehehehe…I love litchis 😀 and mangoes too.. 😛 and for these reasons, I think, summer is not that kind of an insensitive season anyway…

Sensational…a bit like our lives cutting a lonely figure among the clouds in the excruciating Indan summer.

Beautiful haiku with a larger implication. Aren’t we all in a similar situation wherein we look for shade to save ourselves from the scorching heat?

Absolutely, Somali…we all need a shadowy support at some point in life… and most of the times, it’s being the noon, the midway of life…

PS, in the US “Indian summer” means an autumn that feels like summer. I wonder why that is?

Really? I didn’t know that…maybe it symbolizes the hot and humid Indian summer…
