Words and picture in unity. I love “the hilly wind”, I keep reading that line and it makes me smile – I can see the wind coming from the hill to greet the flags – very good. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Indeed these colorful flags in the backdrop of beautiful hills makes the presence profound, it symbolizes the beauty of nature and the freedom of wind that drives our inspiration and aspiration life…what is life without the beauty of nature and the freedom in life.
The bliss is in the air, one can feel it and one can connect to the palpable serenity of the nature…
Lovely thoughts!!!
😀
You have described the ambience flawlessly, Nihar. This was exactly what I felt when I was there. 🙂 Life in meaningless without the beauty of Nature and freedom of mind…indeed… 🙂
Nature is so much part of our life but unfortunately we have kept ourselves apart from nature…a paradox we live with.
Indeed, freedom drives our life and the power of freedom is experienced when lose it.
😀
Yes, it’s in a small village in Sikkim..peaceful and picturesque. Hopefully, the flutter will continue forever with the bells ringing in the nearby monastery… 🙂
Thank you… 🙂
Nice, I have always liked the flags on a windy day, esp when they are so colorful and have a deeper meaning 🙂 .. Unlike most hotels if I must point out :).
In Sikkim, you’ll see such flags almost everywhere. It’s the belief of the locals that these flags with mantras of Lord Buddha written on them, save them from all disasters and misfortune… 🙂
Thanks, Somali..
it’s Sikkim..it’s a small village we were passing through during our journey to Ravangla. The village looked so peaceful and picturesque… 🙂
