What is life without these memories, but like everything in life there are these good and bad memories. And there are the places, the things and the time that triggers these memories, sometime the bad and many times the good ones…yes, those rose petals, the whiff of happiness and the tender touch sums of all…such lovely lines and what a wonderful way to reflect and it is nostalgic indeed.
😀
Thanks so much, Nihar. Yes, all memories are not sweet…they do induce hidden wounds and rough times. But, perhaps, we are prone to remember the happy moments, moments of love and smile and friendship…. 🙂
We used to save flowers and leaves in between the pages…I found one on the other day..a few petals, yellowed and dried, fragile…but they did induce a lot of memory and these lines… 🙂
Emotions are transient but they make lasting memories. Feelings change but good (bad too) memories remain. What a better way to say that than by using the analogy of a rose petal which when dried still spreads the whiff of happiness. 🙂
The diary holds so many memories of your senses. The way you described the withered rose is perfect. 🙂
