Smile
buds bloom
the sun shines
leafy demure
with her half-closed eyes
eager kissing the sun.
propitious rays, caressing
the delicate earthly wonders
fragrance drenched in ethereal love
flowers, delicate wonders of nature
This is an Etheree. Etheree is a ten-line poetry ascending in syllable count for ten unrhymed lines. It’s attributed to an American poet, Etheree Taylor Armstrong of Arkansas. An Etheree should focus on one idea or subject.

Beautiful. Very interesting writing form. Isn’t a little difficult to write? Sticking to one subject is easy but keep a check on syllable count is lil’ difficult.

Maniparna, think you had earlier too introduced Ethree once. I read this one 2-3 times. The feeling after reading the poetry each time is of getting entwined in a beautiful spiral of words.
