A confined compartment
Asphyxiating and chilly
Alien emotions, a lump
In the throat, choking.
No words, nor teardrops,
The walls come closer
To devour the soul.
Solitude and sorrow
Aching heart, we pine
But there will shine
With sun, a good morrow.

That’s beautiful. The darkness often soaks up where we are devoid of hopes, and the optimistic approach. I had a written a post, belonging to the exact tone of this poem, where in I Search For Solace..
Do well, keep writing. 🙂

Lovely..somehow it reminded me of an old hindi song that went “Raat bhar ka hai mehmaan andhera, kiske roke ruka hai savera…” 🙂

Many of us would relate to this, perhaps. A lovely piece, and I really like the flicker of hope it ends with.

beautiful Maniparna… loved the ‘walls come closer to devour the soul..’ presented the exact claustrophobic image of grief when we can’t breathe… and yes the next lines are hopeful .. just like dawn is inevitable after night.. 🙂 cheers n hope 🙂
