My first thought: ”Goodness!” everytime I see a classic my true appreciation of the art of haiku is renewed. And I do really get momentarily stunned. Of course for a second I think ‘when, when will I do that, reach that level!’ but that thought goes away again. I thought the haiku was stunning enough, till I saw the word ‘fleeting’, and matched it to butterfly and rainbow, and knew I had read a rare haiku that can make me think all day. A very balanced one for the tongue too, with the p/b/s sounds drifting nicely. Really well done and presented.
the flowers stand out 🙂
