Why I Blog

images (2)

Random words float,
I fail to swim, they gloat
In every direction, they flow
Never too fast  never too slow.

Catch us if you can, reads the caution
They dance, in a desultory fashion
I search for the right word

For pen is mightier than the sword.

Words, I tame thee, my muse arrives
Thoughts come alive, palpable and thrive
I need a refuge for my rants and blabber
Words, thou hast made me a blogger.

Space for my mind, my cozy nest
I open here myself, unsuppressed

My blog, here I find my serendipity
Digital footprints on the ocean of eternity.

  1. Your poem sings the song of my thoughts on blogging. A refuge for the rants, a solace for the tormented soul, a room for personal growth. Well written 🙂

  2. Hi Mani, could relate to each line of your poem. So true. I too often take need refuge of my rants and blabber at The Sinhas at No. 302.

Nice poem to describe why you blog. Most of the other posts on the same topic was a descriptive narrative and this one stands out. Kudos.
