This is my very first venture to pen down a Nonet. A Nonet refers to a group of nine musicians ( or a composition which requires nine musicians for its performance) when it comes to music and in poetry, it is simply a poem with nine lines. Like the Haiku, it too, depends on syllable count. There is no restraint on the number of words used but the basic rule is that the first line must have 9 syllables, the second line 8,the third line 7 and so on until the ninth line finishes with only one.
